INFO Dirac is David Borrie, a musician from New Zealand currently working in London. His music is the result of a long-running and passionate affair with disturbed or altered states of perception, in the grand tradition of Philip K. Dick and Francis Bacon. It is not ‘experimental’ in the sense that it is the product of genuine scientific enquiry, nor is it ‘ambient’ in the sense of trying to blend in with the carpet. It is not limited to electronic sounds, nor is it based primarily around acoustic or amplified ‘rock’ instrumentation.
